Dr Frances PetryMBBS (Monash Hons) BMedSci (Hons), FRCPA Histopathology Dr Petry obtained her Medical Degree from Monash University, Melbourne in 1984. She undertook her specialist training in Anatomical Pathology at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Hospital – Footscray, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Alfred Hospital, obtaining her FRCPA in 1994. She subsequently worked as a Consultant Pathologist at Cytopath/Gribbles for three years; Victorian Cytology Service for three years; then 18 months at the Mercy Hospital for Women before returning to Gribbles in 2002. Dr Petry has a particular interest in gynaecological pathology. She does regular sessions at The Royal Women’s Hospital where she is involved with Frozen Sections, fetal and perinatal autopsies and routine reporting. Other areas of interest include skin and gastrointestinal pathology. |
