Dr Hamilton graduated from Monash University in 1974. His training included appointments at the Austin Hospital and Monash University Department of Anatomy, Western General Hospital, Royal Southern Memorial Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital. Since obtaining his FRCPA in 1987, Dr Hamilton has held specialist pathologist appointments at Preston and Northcote Community Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Peninsula Hospital, Trezise Pathology, Australian Clinical Laboratories and has been an anatomical pathologist at Gribbles Pathology since 2003. A histopathologist, he has a special interest in the pathology of pigmented skin lesions and in endocrine tumour morphology.
